A series of tribal consultation sessions will be held during the public comment period in January and February of 2012. These sessions are opportunities for consultations between the federal government and tribal leaders and/or their designated representatives. Tribal Marine Science Workshop will be held April 10 - 14, 2012 at Kasitsna Bay Laboratory, Seldovia, Alaska. This 5-day workshop is for natural resource specialists in Alaska tribes and Native organizations who have an interest in marine sciences, and/or who have responsibilities for managing marine resources adjacent to their communities. Enrollment is limited to 16 persons.
