We've changed Tracks a bit by only having a link to the Section (e.g. news articles, funding, training) instead of a link for each entry. So, if you are interested in grants, click on the link for "Funding Opportunities" and it will show you all of those listed in this Tracks.

Youth Opportunities
*Giving the Land a Voice Contest
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Wildlife Refuge Association are looking for youth ages 15-24 to tell us what they think about the future of the National Wildlife Refuge System! Last summer, USFWS and NWRA launched a year-long process called "Conserving the Future: Wildlife Refuges and the Next Generation" to build a new, bold strategic vision for the National Wildlife Refuge System. We believe that youth need to be an integral part of the vision process, but we need your help to get them involved in the conversation! *US Fish and Wildlife Service and Student Conservation Association (SCA) Partnership Tribal Youth Intern Program
Summer 2011, for students enrolled in Tribal or other 2and 4-year colleges
The US Fish and Wildlife Service partnered with SCA to provide 12-week summer internships at National Wildlife Refuges located in the Midwest, Mountain-Prairie, and Alaska Regions. Interns will engage in a variety of conservation and resource protection projects. Duties may include: wildlife/biological surveys, maintenance, invasive species management, GIS/GPS mapping, and environmental education and visitor services.

On behalf of The Wildlife Society (TWS) and the Native Peoples Wildlife Management Working Group (NPWG) of The Wildlife Society, I am pleased to announce the 2011 Native American Professional Development Grants Program. This year’s grants program is a competitive program available to all Native American, Alaska Natives, First Nations, native Hawaiian or indigenous tribal students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program studying natural resources or natural resource management.
