Reminder: ALL Bats Should be Considered Positive for Rabies Virus

 ALL bats should be considered positive for Rabies Virus.  Any exposure to saliva, urine, feces, bites should be reported to Public Health. Vaccinate domestic animals, dogs, cats, ferrets, horses, sheep and goats.
Rabies infections across the US:  Washington State-Chelan County-Bat;  New York- Chautauqua County-Feral Cats;  South Carolina-Aiken County-Raccoon;  North Carolina-Orange County-Fox;  Nebraska-Panhandle area-Human death possibly due to Rabies
