The 2022 Alaska Regional Conference will be hosted by Alaska Village Initiatives on October 19, 2022 at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel & Spa in Anchorage, AK.

Travel Assistance

With funding from the First Nations Development Fund, NAFWS is providing twelve (12) travel scholarships available to attend the 2022 Alaska Regional Conference. Scholarship are up to $1500 reimbursable for travel, hotel, and per diem. Registration (Free for NAFWS members or $50 membership fee for non-members) is not included. Priority given to Tribes, Tribal organizations, and Tribal students with a focus on Alaska Natives and Alaska residents. Recipients must attend the entire conference.

DEADLINE TO APPLY: September 23, 2022 at 10:00 pm Alaska Time.

Registration Fees
First 10 people to register will receive a $300 stipend (*Recipients must attend the entire conference)

NAFWS Member or Member Tribe Employee – FREE
Non-member – $50 membership fee

Registration Instructions

Up to date Individual Members and Member Tribe employees are eligible for discounted registration fees.

You must login to receive a discount. To log into your portal:
  1. Click the login button on the top right corner of the screen
  2. Enter your email address and hit forgot password
  3. Follow email instructions to set a new password.
  4. Log onto your account
  5. Discounts will automatically apply if you have purchased a membership.

If purchasing multiple tickets, please fill out attendee details for each ticket purchased. For accommodations and dietary restrictions, submit requests in the Additional Information field. Contact Heidi McCann (hmccann@nafws.org) to verify membership or for assistance setting up an account.
