2026 Great Plains Regional Conference

Hosted by the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska, the Great Plains Regional Conference was held at the WinnaVegas Casino Resort in Sloan, Iowa.

On March 27-19, 2026, the Great Plains Regional Conference was held in Sloane, IA, hosted by the Winnebago Tribe of NE at the WinnaVegas Resort and Casino. The conference had 78 total attendees, and 86 people involved overall. This number includes those that registered but did not attend, those that were set to speak but cancelled, etc. The 78 includes all physical persons in attendance. Attendees represented 16 Tribal nations, 4 Tribal organizations, 2 NGOs, 6 government agencies, and 3 universities. There were 7 NAFWS staff in attendance to support Regional Directors.
