Applying the NEPA Process: Native American Tribal Concerns and Participation

Join our in-person workshop hosted by NAFWS in partnership with the Shipley Group for this training, open only to Tribal staff or representatives only. This training serves to provide Tribal field staff with the knowledge and skills to successfully complete National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) planning and processes. Participants will learn about NEPA compliance levels, Tribal consultation, DOI policies, and key legal considerations that support environmental protection and Tribal sovereignty. Workshop is for Tribal staff or representatives only.

NAFWS Members receive exclusive registration access to this course until September 7, 2026.

NAFWS Members or Member Tribes: There will be no registration costs for NAFWS Members or Member Tribes.

NAFWS Non-Member: If you are not a Member or from a non-Member Tribe, the cost of this course is $150 and Membership is included.  

Attendance is limited to 25 participants.
