This event will be held July 28-29, 2026 in Polson, MT. It serves both grant applicants and grantees with a focus on NFWF programs and Peer-to-Peer Learning.
Day 1: 8am-5pm MST– Classroom Day sessions include Grant Writing for NFWF and other Grants, Diversifying Funding/Other Funding Opportunities, and Practical Skills For Grant Seekers.
Day 2: 8am-5pm MST– Site Visit Day featuring a Site Visit to an AERI Project Site and a Networking event between Grantees and Applicants
Attendees should bring appropriate clothing for day in the field
Registration:
NAFWS members receive exclusive registration access to this course until April 30, 2026.
You must log in to access the member price and early bird registration.
NAFWS members or Member Tribes: There will be no registration costs for NAFWS members or member Tribes.
NAFWS Non-member: If you are not a member or from a non-member Tribe, the cost of this course is $150, which includes membership.
Workshop capacity is 35.
Please limit registration to two representatives per Tribe or Tribal Organization.
Travel Reimbursement available for NAFWS Members: Select “Yes” for travel reimbursement question at check-out and NAFWS will confirm if you qualify after registration.
Lodging: Room block at Red Lion Ridgewater Inn & Suites, Polson, MT at a rate of $199 + tax/night. Mention NAFWS.
