Fundamentals of Data Science with R

A three-part webinar series designed to teach tribal fish and wildlife professional to visualize and model existing (or future) datasets to support management decision making. Participants will learn why R is such a powerful tool for data science, best practices, creating reproducible code, exploring datasets, and creating graphics!

Instructor- Colton Miller, Ph.D.

Dr. Miller is a 2022 graduate of the University of Washington from the school of Enviromental and Forest Sciences. His work focuses on the effects of wildfires on changing forest structure across the western U.S. He currently supports Vibrant Planet in the development of forest health treatments to restore resiliency to these ecosystems.
