Reptile and Amphibian Working Group

Join our Reptile and Amphibian Working Group!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Tribal Reptile & Amphibian Working Group, proudly partnering with the Amphibian and Reptile Conservancy (ARC). Together, we aim to preserve the invaluable reptile and amphibian species in our ancestral lands.

What we offer:

  • Educational presentations and workshops on species identification and habitat protection.
  • Opportunities to engage with fellow Tribal members passionate about reptiles and amphibians, fostering knowledge exchange.
  • Contribute to preserving the rich biodiversity of our lands and waters.

The Tribal Reptile & Amphibian Working Group would be facilitated in partnership with the Amphibian and Reptile Conservancy. This working group is a space to bring together representatives from different Tribal Communities to collaborate on conservation efforts for reptiles and amphibians. This group aims to share knowledge, discuss conservations strategies, and work towards preserving these species and their habitats within tribal lands.

In Recognition of Their Support

The Native American Fish and Wildlife Society would like to thank those organizations that provided us with support over the years. With them we grew an effective national communications network for the exchange of information and management techniques related to self-determined tribal fish and wildlife management.
