Chronic Wasting Disease Research and Management Act passes the House of Representatives

Rep. Ron Kind’s Bill to Combat Chronic Wasting Disease Passes House with Overwhelming Bipartisan Support

Washington, DC – December 8, 2021, the Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) Research and Management Act introduced by Rep. Ron Kind (D-WI) and Rep Glenn Thompson (R-PA) passed the House of Representative. The bill, if passed, will fund research and management of CWD, a highly contagious neurological disease that affects deer, elk and moose.
