Beaver Relocation Workshop

Native American Fish and Wildlife Society and Tulalip Tribes

In partnership with Tulalip Tribes, a Beaver Relocation Workshop will be held July 15-17, 2025, travel days being July 14th & July 18th. The classroom portion of the workshop will be held at Tulalip Administration Building (6406 Marine Dr Tulalip, WA 98271). This three-day training will go over Tulalip’s process of relocating beavers, from trap setting, hatchery intake, beaver habitat suitability analysis, and completed relocation in the field. The training will be a combination of classroom and field applications but most of the time will be spent out of the classroom.

**This training will require strenuous hiking and lifting up to 50 lbs.**

NAFWS members or Member Tribes: There will be no registration costs for NAFWS members or member Tribes.

NAFWS Non-member: If you are not a member or from a non-member Tribe, the cost of this course is $150.

You must log in to access the member price and early bird registration.

Please limit registration to two representatives per Member Tribe or Tribal Organization.

**Travel Reimbursements up to $1800 available for the first 10 NAFWS members that are approved to attend.**
