CLEO Exterior Response to Active Shooter Events Training

The Native American Fish and Wildlife Society will be hosting an Exterior Response to Active Shooter Events (ERASE) Training on June 3-7, 2024. This workshop will be held at Downstream Casino Resort in Quapaw, OK. Lodging for the nights of June 2-7, 2024 will be covered for all registered participants. This course is designed to prepare first responders for an open-air active shooter encounter. It addresses a wide range of tactics and techniques when addressing an exterior armed aggressor. This hands on course will cover equipment selection, vehicle ambushes, medical emergencies, vehicle and dismounted officer/citizen down rescue, individual/ team movement techniques, and emergency vehicle crisis response. Some participants attending this course have found it to be physically challenging. Officers attending this course should be able to walk moderate distances, jog, kneel, crawl, and lift moderate weight. This is an outside class and is routinely conducted during inclement weather conditions.
Course Registration:
NAFWS members or Member Tribes: There will be no registration costs for NAFWS members or member Tribes.
NAFWS Non-member: If you are not a member or from a non-member Tribe, the cost of this course is $150.
This workshop will be capped at 30 participants.
Please limit registration to two representatives per Tribe or Tribal Organization.
Lodging: Lodging is provided from June 2-7, 2024 are provided to all participants at Downstream Casino Resort; 69300 E Nee Rd, Quapaw, OK 74363. All incidentals must be covered by the attendee.
