Invasive Species: Small Animals, Big Problems

The Native American Fish & Wildlife Society (NAFWS) is pleased to announce a webinar titled Small Animals, Big Problems. Invasive species are often expected to be species of great magnitude by size or expansion; however, even species that come in small packages like armadillos and pot-bellied pigs can cause impacts that range from landscape damage to human health risks. This is the fourth webinar in our year long invasive species webinar series to help tribes and managers identify invasive species and develop plans to stop their spread. The webinar will include examples, time for questions, and discussion led by guest speaker Marvin Bouknight, Catawba Nation and Mitzi Reed, NAFWS Invasive Species Coordinator.

The webinar will take place April 24, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. MDT

In Recognition of Their Support

The Native American Fish and Wildlife Society would like to thank those organizations that provided us with support over the years. With them we grew an effective national communications network for the exchange of information and management techniques related to self-determined tribal fish and wildlife management.
