2025 Annual National Conference

May 12 – 15, 2025 | Riverton, Wyoming

The 2025 Native American Fish and Wildlife Society Annual National Conference, hosted by the Eastern Shoshone & Northern Arapaho Tribes of the Wind River Reservation, will be held from May 12 to 15, 2025  in Riverton, Wyoming.

Call for Abstracts

Please submit abstracts HERE | DEADLINE TO APPLY: March 7, 2025. Submissions are for 30 minute oral presentations. Abstracts will be reviewed and selected after the deadline, with a goal to notify all selected presenters by email no later than April 4, 2025.

Travel Assistance Application

  • Travel Funding Assistance| DEADLINE TO APPLY: March 7, 2025
    • Current Tribal natural resource professionals are eligible for up to $1500 reimbursement for travel. This funding can can airfare & mileage, lodging, and per diem. Registration fees are not covered by this funding. Priority given to presenters that will present on BIA Wildlife & Parks funded projects.
  • Student Travel Scholarship| DEADLINE TO APPLY: March 7, 2025
    • Currently enrolled Undergraduate & Graduate Native students within the natural resources and conservation law related fields are eligible for up to $2000 of travel funding to cover airfare & mileage, lodging, per diem, and conference registration.

National Award Nominations

Please submit nominations HERE. We are currently accepting nominations for Chief Sealth Award, Biologist of the Year Award, Conservation Officer of the Year Award, and Emerging Professional Award. Nominations close on April 4, 2025.
